Tuscany and Umbria
A Mid-March, 2016 fifteen-day land tour of the Italian Heartland for a little artistic inspiration!
We're working with Boston's renowned Grand Circle Travel (Overseas Adventure) to tailor a trip compatible to East Side Art Center's network of students (and their friends and relatives). ESAC president and teacher, Carolyn Simon lived and worked in Florence for over three years and, with husband and ESAC teacher, Don, have traveled to the region on numerous occasions.
Brief Itinerary: During days 1-4, we fly to and stay in Lucca, Italy, with a side-trip to Florence. Then we enjoy three days each in the Chianti region, Pienza and Trevi. Finally, a day in Rome countryside before our return to the U.S.
Included: All land transportation, accomodations for 13 nights, 29 meals, 21 group activities, a resident English-speaking Trip Leader (Carolyn speaks some Italian, too.), international airfare and so much more. Price: approximately $4000.
