(Painting) Rhode Island School of Design TEACHING: East Side Art Center EXPERIENCE: Gary has a B.F.A. in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design. He has studied: traditional Chinese painting with the Taiwanese-American artist, Shiou-ping Liao; Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement with Mrs. Kazuko Moriwaki and Japanese woodblock printmaking with Keiji Shinohara. Gary works almost exclusively in Chinese ink and watercolor on Chinese paper, with a focus on landscape painting.

Maintaining an ambitious exhibition schedule, you can find his work as part of the selection at juried fine art festivals across several states including Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey. Jeremy grew up in Connecticut where he was trained as a landscape painter before attending the Rhode Island School of Design, where he studied Illustration.
