Best of Rhode Island Birthday Party!
When kids come to our birthday parties, they experience a fun learning environment they aren't likely to forget.
After a meeting with you and the birthday child - to get acquainted, see the space, and discuss what the art project might be, we provide a customized invitation. This gives invitees a sense of anticipation and excitement for a special, creative event, as well as the date, time, particulars and location of the East Side Art Center. It's not your typical birthday invitation! All you have to do is address and mail them.
Parties are for up to twelve (maximum) children, ages five to twelve. Art projects are selected, instructed and work best for all children when there are no more than three years between the youngest and oldest.
The party lasts two and one half hours on a Saturday or Sunday, 11:00 am - 1:30 pm if it's a lunch party, or later if it's just ice cream and cake. You provide what you normally would at home; the food, plates, tableware, etc.
East Side Art Center provides the studio and instruction for the one and one half hour art project - with all materials - and a separate space, tables and chairs for the "party" and opening of presents. Typically, we start with the art project, come down for treats, and complete the project at the end. There's always a lot of fun but there's as much learning, too!
